Extreme Tetrom 7.5

Extreme Tetrom 7.5 has been released! This version has two major feature changes:

1. It remembers the mode you last played and starts up with that mode selected. If you’re a new player, or don’t have a mode saved because you haven’t saved with this version yet, it will start on “Grandmaster” mode, since that’s probably the best the game has to offer. I’d previously had it default to “Marathon” mode to be friendlier to new players, but most people simply find it boring, so I want to put a better foot forward.

2. It adds a new difficulty: Impossible mode! It is, of course inspired by a Lou Reed quote in Penn & Teller’s Smoke and Mirrors:

“Impossible doesn’t mean very difficult. Very difficult is winning the Nobel Prize; impossible is eating the Sun.”

There is no reason to play this mode.
